Successful AGG open-pit mine project
Over the years, AGG has gained extensive experience in supplying generating sets to oil and gas fields. For example, AGG has supplied three 2030kVA AGG diesel generator sets to an open pit mine in a South East Asian country as a back-up power system to ensure continuous power supply, and avoid delays and potential financial losses caused by unstable mains power.
Considering the high dust and humidity levels and the lack of a specific power room, AGG team equipped the generator sets with container enclosures with an IP54 protection class, making the solution well protected against dust and moisture. In addition, the design of the solution also included large fuel tank, protection systems and other relevant configurations to ensure the proper operation of the entire system.
In this project, the customer had high demands on the quality and delivery time of the solution. In order to keep up with the mining schedule, AGG scrambled to supply three generator sets to the mine within three months. Together with the support of the upstream partner and AGG's local agent, the delivery time and efficiency of the solution was ensured.
